Folks look at me rather quizzically when I talk about 'cue here in Boston but we have a growing faction of really great spots to get authenticate smoked barbeque right here in "Bean Town".

**Barbeque in Greater Boston**
	Blue Ribbon BBQ - the name says it all. West Newton and Arlington, MA
Redbones - Somerville, MA
	Bison County - Waltham, MA
Jake and Earl's Dixie Roadhouse - Waltham, MA
	Firefly's BBQ - Marlborough, MA Now open in Framingham, MA as well. Try the Sunday BBQ brunch.
Bub's BBQ - Sunderland, MA Just north of U Mass, Amherst on rte. 116
	Tennessee's BBQ - Framingham, MA Real BBQ - Real Fast
LJ's BBQ - Pawtucket, RI Great 'cue and a surprising selection of good bourbons too!

On a recent trip to Austin, TX, in the summer of '01, I had the distinct pleasure or sampling some great Texas 'cue at these fine establishments.

**Barbeque in Austin**
	Iron Works BBQ - one of the best in Central Texas
Stubbs - great food and good music as well.
	Cooper's - East of Llano
County Line - I went to "on the hill"

I took a trip to central Tennessee in October of 2002 to visit Nashville, Lynchburg and to see some of my family south of Knoxville. I had the great pleasure of experiencing some wonderful Tennessee cooking.

**Barbeque in Central Tennessee**
	Jack's BBQ - on Broadway in downtown Nashville
Hog Heaven - small joint, great ribs.
	The Wild Horse Saloon - huge place, CMT films here. The brisket was the best. In the heart of Nashville.
The BBQ Caboose - in Lynchburg, TN home of the Jack Daniels distillery. Good food and great music.
