Folks look at me rather quizzically when I talk about 'cue here in Boston but we have a growing faction of really great spots to get authenticate smoked barbeque right here in "Bean Town".

On a recent trip to Austin, TX, in the summer of '01, I had the distinct pleasure or sampling some great Texas 'cue at these fine establishments.

Cooper's - East of Llano

County Line - I went to "on the hill"

 

I took a trip to central Tennessee in October of 2002 to visit Nashville, Lynchburg and to see some of my family south of Knoxville. I had the great pleasure of experiencing some wonderful Tennessee cooking.

Hog Heaven - small joint, great ribs.

The Wild Horse Saloon - huge place, CMT films here. The brisket was the best.
