Americade - June, 2003

Once again we returned to Lake George, NY, during the first week of June for Americade 2003 continued to show growth in attendance despite less than optimal weather.

Locals will gather each night to watch the parade of machinery come rumbling down Canada St.

Americaders contribute upwards of 25% to the annual tourist revenue for teh Lake George area each year.

During the French and Indian war control of this point governed who would be able to run ships down into Lake George and Fort William Henry.

I stayed at the Tahoe Beach Club Resort this year. Heated pool, nice clean rooms and reasonable rates even considering they are inflated for Americade week. The Tahoe Resort
